Oxford High School presents Frozen

Based on the 2013 Academy Award-winning animated feature, Disney’s Frozen expanded the beloved story for the Broadway stage, earning three Tony Award nominations including Best Musical. Featuring the cherished songs from the original film alongside an expanded score by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, this spectacular production brings the magical kingdom of Arendelle to life with heart, humor, and a powerful message of sisterhood.

The story introduces us to Princesses Elsa and Anna, sisters separated by a secret and a mysterious power Elsa cannot control. When Elsa’s hidden magic accidentally plunges the kingdom into an eternal winter, she flees to the North Mountain, fearing she is a monster. Princess Anna—ever the optimist—sets out on a perilous journey to bring her sister home, enlisting the help of a rugged ice harvester, a loyal reindeer, and a hilarious, sun-loving snowman.

As they battle the elements and race against time, the sisters discover that true love comes in many forms and that the only way to melt a frozen heart is from within. It is a timeless tale of bravery and self-acceptance that proves "some people are worth melting for."
